1. Both games run, untouched
The world game launches as normal and keeps its quests, NPCs and saves. The second game launches beside it with its window hidden. Neither is rewritten.
Pick a world and a game to play it with. Tell Gamoo the crossover, and it writes the mods that run both as one.
Gamoo is napping until your beta wave opens. Your mashups will live here, so try a template in the meantime.
Single-player PC games with an active mod loader. Games that need kernel-level anti-cheat or always-online play aren't supported.
The pass-through method
This is the technique behind every "Minecraft in another game" clip going round right now. Gamoo automates the hard part: writing and wiring the two mods.
The world game launches as normal and keeps its quests, NPCs and saves. The second game launches beside it with its window hidden. Neither is rewritten.
A plugin for each game's mod loader (SKSE, Fabric, ModEngine and friends). They trade collision, camera, combat and geometry through shared memory every frame.
The guest's blocks and characters are injected before post-processing, so they pick up the host's sun, shadows and fog instead of looking pasted on.
